Prospective Members Safety Training Event
📅 Date: Saturday, August 22nd, 2026
🕒 Time: 9:00 AM - 12:30 PM
📍 Location: Cabela's Fort Worth (Conference Room), 12901 Cabela Dr, Fort Worth, TX 76177
👧👦 Open to boys & girls, ages 11-17, in Keller ISD (including home-schooled athletes).
New Athlete Range Safety and Evaluation Shoot
📅 Date: Thursday, August 27th, 2026
🕒 Time: 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM
📍 Location: Northlake Shooting Sports, 13055 Cleveland Gibbs Rd, Northlake, TX 76262
👧👦 Open athletes that have successfully completed the KCTT Safety Training classroom session.
Details:
- Required: Safety gear, shotgun, and ammunition (details provided in the event briefing)
- Cost: $75 (includes course materials, range fees, and clay targets; excludes ammunition)
- Note: A parent must accompany their athlete. No drop-offs allowed. Limited spots available - sign up early!
About Keller Clay Target Team
Competitive Program
📅 Open to boys & girls, grades 5-12, ages 11-17, within Keller ISD and surrounding areas.
Tryouts:
🏅 Every athlete who attends and completes their rounds is eligible to join.
Practices:
🔫 Every Thursday evening, athletes usually shoot at least two rounds, possibly more if time allows.
🎯 Focus of the first month is exclusively on Trap, and Skeet practice will be introduce closer to December. Sporting Clays picks up in Spring.

Purpose
The Keller Clay Target Team is a co-ed team-based youth development program that uses the shotgun sports of trap, skeet, and sporting clays to instill life skills such as discipline, safety, teamwork, ethics, self-confidence, and other life values. Team members can participate in any or all three of the clay target disciplines – Trap, Skeet, and Sporting Clays.
