OFFICIAL RAFFLE RULES:
2025 TEXAS SCTP SCHOLARSHIP RAFFLE Official Rules Benefiting the Texas SCTP State Championship Scholarship Fund (June 9-15, 2025, at the National Shooting Complex, San Antonio, TX)
Terms & Conditions
The raffle is conducted by Texas SCTP, and is hosted by KHSCTT, INC, which is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Raffle tickets and entries are not tax-deductible. Donations made to Texas SCTP not in connection with this Raffle are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
1. Agreement to Rules
By participating in the Raffle, Entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and by the decisions of the raffle organizers, which shall be binding and final in all matters related to the Raffle.
2. Purpose of the Raffle
All net proceeds from this Raffle will be granted to the Texas SCTP State Championship Scholarship Fund, providing scholarships to youth athletes competing in the championship event.
3. Raffle Format
- This Raffle will be a single-draw raffle where any single ticket purchase is eligible to win one raffle prize.
- Grand Prize: Beretta 688 Shotgun.
4. Firearm Prize Requirements
- Potential Winners of firearms must pass all required background checks and are responsible for any applicable taxes, transfer, and background check fees.
5. Raffle Drawing Date & Location
- Drawing Date: Sunday, June 15, 2025, at the Texas SCTP Raffle Event.
- The raffle organizers reserve the right to determine the sequence of raffle ticket drawings to establish prize winners.
6. Raffle Compliance with Texas Law
- This raffle complies with the Texas Charitable Raffle Enabling Act, allowing KHSCTT, INC to conduct this raffle for the benefit of the Texas SCTP Scholarship Fund in the State of Texas.
7. Where to Claim Prizes
- Firearm prizes must be picked up at Northlake Clay Target Sports in Northlake, TX, or shipped to a licensed Federal Firearms Dealer (FFL) of the winner’s choosing.
- Winners must allow at least 72 hours after the drawing is completed before firearm may be picked up to allow for transportation of firearm from San Antonio back to Northlake Shooting Sports..
- Non-firearm prizes can be shipped at the winner’s expense. The winner must cover any shipping or transfer fees. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of the prize.

9. Eligibility Requirements
- Must be a U.S. citizen, at least 18 years old.
- Firearm winners must be legally permitted to own a firearm under federal, state, and local laws.
- Winners must comply with all FFL regulations before receiving the firearm.
- Certain states and localities prohibit firearm prizes; winners in those jurisdictions may forfeit their prize or arrange for a legal transfer.
10. Ticket Limit & Odds of Winning
- A maximum of 1,500 raffle tickets will be sold.
- Odds of winning depend on the total number of entries.
11. Winner Selection & Announcement
- Winners will be randomly selected and announced immediately following the drawing.
- Winners’ names may be posted on the Texas SCTP website and/or social media.
12. Prize Claim Requirements
To become an Official Winner, the selected Potential Winner must:
- Meet all eligibility requirements listed in these rules.
- Verify identity and provide required documentation.
- Complete and return an affidavit of eligibility provided by the raffle organizers.
- Claim the prize within 72 hours of being notified, beginning when the firearm arrives back to Northlake Shooting Sports after the drawing is completed.
- If a winner fails to claim their prize within 72 hours, the prize is forfeited, and another winner may be drawn.
- The raffle organizers are not responsible for incorrect contact information, unresponsive winners, or unclaimed prizes.
13. Tax & Legal Responsibilities
- Winners are responsible for all applicable taxes.
- If the prize value exceeds $600, winners will receive a 1099-MISC or W-2G form.
- Transfer fees for firearms are the sole responsibility of the winner.
14. Refund & Ticket Policies
- All raffle ticket sales are final. No refunds will be issued.
- Declined payments will result in forfeiture of entry.
15. Disclaimer & Indemnification
- Texas SCTP makes no guarantees regarding the accuracy of prize descriptions or estimated values.
- Prizes are awarded "as-is" without warranties.
- Texas SCTP, KHSCTT, INC., and its affiliates shall not be liable for any claims, losses, or damages related to this raffle.
16. Privacy Policy
- Participants’ names and email addresses may be shared with raffle partners and sponsors.
- Financial or mailing address data will not be shared.
17. Publicity Release
- Winners agree to allow Texas SCTP to use their name, city/state, and likeness for promotional purposes.
18. Liability Waiver for Winners
- By accepting a prize, the winner assumes all risks and agrees that Texas SCTP is not liable for firearm misuse, accidental injury, or legal restrictions.
- Agreement clause:
“By accepting a prize, the winner agrees to release and hold harmless Texas SCTP, KHSCTT, INC., its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents from any liability for injuries, losses, or damages of any kind caused by participation in the raffle or by acceptance, possession, or use of any prize.”
19. Disputes & Jurisdiction
- Any disputes arising from this Raffle will be resolved exclusively under Texas law.
- Participants agree to waive class-action rights and pursue claims individually.
- If any rule is deemed invalid, the remaining rules shall remain in effect.
Acknowledgment & Agreement
By purchasing a raffle ticket or entering via mail, you acknowledge and agree to abide by these Official Rules.
